EDUCATION

Maktab Classes: Aqsa Week

This month our Maktab students have been looking at ways to benefit others around them including the local community and Muslims around the world.

For week 1 they conducted a survey on the issues in the local community and spoke about which ones they felt needed the most focus depending on their findings, and then looked at solutions to these issues.

They also worked on fundraising for the Syria/Turkey earthquake by selling baked goods, crochet bracelets, treat bags and cupcakes.

Students also learned about the history and structure of Masjid al Aqsa and looked at the blessed virtues.

COMMUNITY
