Boys Fitness sessions
Heart rates were up during the fitness sessions in which the boys learned about the importance of keeping fit and healthy eating as well as the rights of the body.
Wrestling, strength conditioning and BP testing were some of the things they did.
Mend: Causes and Cures Of Islamophobia
A brilliant and informative session equipping the community on tools to tackle Islamophobia delivered at Ad-Duha Institute on Saturday.
The session also gave insight into the causes of Islamophobia and our responsibility as a community.
Monthly Talk: Protect This House
Ustadh Omar Al-Jazairi gave a very beneficial reminder about the importance of Tarbiyyah in the household and advice on how to keep our families united. Ustadh also spoke about methods of waking children up for Fajr and spending more time together.
Karak Chai donated tea for 40+ brothers and sisters and chocolates were handed out to the children making a sweet ending to the evening.
Money Matters: Islamic Finance Course
Mufti Sajjad delivered an intensive course on the rules of Islamic Trade at Ad-Duha.
Much was covered and many questions were answered.
Mufti Sajjad simplified many intricate topics such as: the sound sale transaction (Bay’ Sahih), Invalid sales (Bay’ Fasid), Leasing (Ijarah), Consumer rights (Khiyaraat) and explained the ruling on Crypto currencies, Shares, Dropshipping, Riba etc.
May Allah s.w.t reward Mufti Sajad for his efforts and grant us many more opportunities to benefit from his classes, Ameen.

Maktab Classes: Forgiveness
This month’s theme was the topic of Forgiveness.
Students focused on the importance of forgiving others for the sake of Allah
As an end to the month, students expressed what they had learned about the importance of forgiveness in poetic form.
Further Maktab: Islamic Identity
This month, as part of the Contemporary Issues unit students have been focusing on the topic of Islamic Identity.
Students partook in a range of activities centred on answering the questions:
Who am I? What does being a Muslim mean? What is my purpose in life?
COMMUNITY
Brothers Chai & Chat
Chai & Chat resumed this October for the first time since the extension work had begun. Brothers enjoyed a friendly Halal gathering with plenty of ‘Chai’ and ‘Chat’.
Children participated in a competitive quiz to test their Islamic knowledge.
Sisters Coffee Mornings: Unity
Coffee mornings during October focused on the topic of unity.
Reminders were given on focusing on unity in and out of the house as well as a community.
Methods of dealing with different perspectives and opinions were also discussed.
