Extension Work at Ad-Duha

This summer, we have been working hard on increasing our prayers capacity and classroom areas by extending the building to accommodate the needs of the growing local community.

Alhamdulillah within a short space of time, the work was completed with a prayer capacity of 200+ as well as a new Wudhu area and prayer space for sisters. May Allah s.w.t reward all those who gave their time and effort to this project and all those who remembered us in their Duas, Ameen.

Living in the times of Fitnah: Shaykh Dr Haitham al-Haddad

Shaykh Dr Haitham al-Haddad gave an interactive and important reminder at Ad-Duha about living in the times of Fitnah and how to be safe in these times.

May Allah s.w.t reward Shaykh Haitham for his efforts and the amazing work he is doing for the Ummah, Ameen.

EDUCATION

Boys to Men: Trip to Carding Mill Valley

This month, our Boys to Men group visited Carding Mill Valley. The group enjoyed trekking through breath taking views across Shropshire, Cheshire and the Black Mountains.

As well as being a great outing for the group, the trip helped us to reflect on the beauty of nature and sublime creation with signs all around us.

Leadership and Enterprise Workshops

Dragons Den, Shipwrecked, Shape Shifters, T-shirt designing and puzzle solving – these were only some of the things our participants, age 8-13+ years, took part in for the Leadership and Enterprise Workshops.

All the workshops were led by brother Arshed with a tailored programme to to help build confidence, self-esteem and social skills in young people, as well as Imaan boosting reminders in each session.

Opportunity to build a Masjid

We have an amazing opportunity to build a Masjid in Jabalia Camp in North Gaza, Palestine.
